The trip to the Philippines was as interesting as it was successfull. I enjoyed the getaway to an interesting place and despite spending over 40 hours in the dentist chair and worrying about the job not getting finished and fine tuned in time for my return home, all worked out well just as it was meant to. I now have a lovely near complete set of chompers and am already planning a return in a year or so to get 3 implant molars. The female dentists who treated me Dr Cha and Dr Rowenal were born to do this work, I certainly prefer weomen dentists now after this experience. I include before and after shots of my teeth so you can see why I am thrilled with the outcome. If you need major dental treatment dont look past researching dental tourism, yeah there's some cheaper clinics out than this one in the Philippines, but this is one of the best in Asia and with better service and work than you could expect at most Aussie dental clinics it's still a 1/4-1/3 the price. I'm glad now I took the opportunity but it wasn't without a huge amount of research and communication directly with dental clinics in Australia, Bali, Thailand and the Philippines that I decided on Dental Express for my treatment. On request they will even bill in Australian dollars so you can claim on your health insurance. There is more information online regarding the sucessful testimonials of Aussie clients who've visited and been treated at this clinic than any dental tourism clinic.

Before shots December 2008

After shot Feb 2009 showing my two new upper and lower fixed bridges.

.
I had the root canal molar removed as the absis would not clear up with antibiotics. I had lots of fillings done too.

Thanks again for all your support and for allowing me to share this great story with you, theres nothing like teeth that actually work and are not painful, dosent the smile say so much. I don't like to think about what might have happened if I had of left them. The reason the problems developed was because of incomplete junior orthodontic treatments that left my upper and lower jaw clashing leading to a loosening of my teeth, not because I didn't care for them, however I know I could have taken better care, I'm sure we all could. When you get an absised tooth painfully extracted that quickly becomes obvious, so now I am having 3 monthly root planing to control the peridontal issue and 6 monthly checkups here in Aus. I highly recomend Jon Varenese of Byron Holistic Dental www.byrondental.com.au  is an expert at Mercury filling removal and general dentistry, he helped me with advice and a dental plan before leaving for the Philippines.

Blessings and love
